Renovation and new construction – Duinhof, Ter Heijde

Bureau Bouwkunde’s contribution:

• Architectural plan development
• Final design
• Technical design
• Drawings for the application of the environmental permit (WABO)
• Technical description & specifications (STABU)
• Fire spread calculation (NEN6068)

Residential care center Duinhof, located in Ter Heijde amidst the dunes, has been renovated, modernized, and made suitable for the present and future, based on a design by Sabien Hamburger from Chaoase. The residential care center is a facility of Pieter van Foreest.

Bureau Bouwkunde handled the architectural detailing for the renovation, including the construction drawings. Additionally, we were responsible for the architectural plan development in the Final Design  phase, the STABU specification/Technical Description (TO), and the application for the Environmental Permit for the new extension. We also conducted a fire spread calculation according to NEN6068 for the building permit application.
