The Zuid-axis in Amsterdam is being developed into a sustainable, multifunctional area with a high building density and international appearance. The Vivaldi area, Lot 11 is part of this. The spatial quality improvement is achieved through restructuring and densification of the Vivaldi area.
The presence of a NUON distribution center and a district telecom center of KPN telecom ensured very tight cabling of the subsurface. Many cables and pipes had to be relocated to make the new plots ready for construction. It also appeared to be necessary to adjust the surface water.
