Building consultant (m/f) 32-40 hrs/week

You are the first point of contact for our clients. It is therefore important that you are strong in terms of both content and communication; a full-fledged discussion partner for our external contacts. You are also an advisor internally; you support your colleagues where possible. You are approachable and collegial; you feel at home in a challenging but also respectful work environment. The atmosphere is definitely good; we work hard, but we also make time for Friday afternoon drinks or a round of office golf.

Core tasks:

• Advising the client on building costs, building technology, (fire) safety, quality.
• Drawing up reports, recommendations, budgets and technical specifications independently.
• Supporting / advising the other parties involved in projects.
• Acting as project manager, making project plans, monitoring progress, steering based on figures.
• Actively staying abreast of current legislation and regulations, anticipating changes, sharing your knowledge internally in this area.

We ask

• Relevant education, several years of relevant experience
• Extensive knowledge of the Buildings Decree 2012
• Knowledge of construction costs and experience with construction cost calculations
• Experience in writing technical specifications
• Knowledge of laws and regulations relating to fire safety
• General knowledge of building physics
• Knowledge of NEN-2580 surface area determination
• You live in the vicinity of Rotterdam, The Hague and/or Gouda. Bureau Bouwkunde is located in the city centre and is therefore easily accessible by public transport.
